Office 365 is a cloud-based subscription service that brings together a variety of Microsoft applications delivered through their powerful cloud services. It offers productivity tools like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote,Teams etc.

Office 365 apps allow users to view and edit Microsoft Office documents on any of their devices.

Microsoft Teams is a collaboration app that helps your team stay organized and have conversations—all in one place. Here's  a quick look at the left hand side of Teams.

• Teams - Find channels to belong to or create your own. Inside channels you can hold on-the-spot meetings, have conversations, and share files.
• Meetings - See everything you’ve got lined up for the day or week. Or, schedule a meeting. This calendar syncs with your Outlook calendar.
• Calls - In some cases, if your organization has it set up, you can call anyone from Teams, even if they’re not using Teams.
• Activity - Catch up on all your unread messages, @mentions, replies, and more.

G-suite is a package of multiple productivity tools for classroom collaboration which can be accessed from any web browser. It is a cloud based solution for messaging and collaboration and enables users to create, share and edit files in real-time, with consistent experience from any computer, tablet or phone.

Students and Faculty also get unlimited storage for storaing and sharing all types of files, allowing seamless collaboration and student faculty engagement.

Shiv Nadar University uses Blackboard as its Learning Management System. Blackboard is a web based learning management system (LMS) used to create and deliver online courses.

Advisor-Advisee module has been customized on SNU ERP (PeopleSoft Campus Solution) to help advisors to assist students in their growth and development by constructing meaningful educational plans compatible with their life goals.
This system enables advisee to view his/her advisor and advisor’s contact details. Advisors can access all required demographic details, full academic grade report, time table and advisement details of his/her advisee in a very convenient manner.

Grade Submission System is an application designed for faculty to input course-wise grades of the students.

Student Attendance Management System allows faculty to record or maintain attendance of students.

‘Magus’ is SNU’s High Performance Computing cluster, designed to facilitate the computing needs of research projects and complex computing simulations undertaken at the University.

URKUND offers a fully-automated e-mail based Plagiarism check system for students, faculty and research scholars. It is easy to use and does not require any software installation. The e-mail based system automatically checks all submitted documents with no extra effort required on part of the faculty

Shiv Nadar University uses Koha as its e-Library. Koha is an open source Integrated Library System (ILS).
Koha includes modules for acquisitions, circulation, cataloging, serials management, authorities, flexible reporting, label printing, multi-format notices, offline circulation for when Internet access is not available and much more.

SNU has piloted VDI deployment using VMware's Horizon solution, a leading platform for virtual desktops and applications. These virtual desktops can be accessed from anywhere using multiple types of devices like Laptops, desktops. thin-clients, smartphones and tablets. 

Shiv Nadar University has intranet based video platform for e-learning consisting of over thirteen thousand video lectures. This platform covers Engineering, Sciences, Technology, Management and Humanities streams. The entire content is accessible from anywhere within the University (Academic blocks, library and hostels)

SNU Campus has four 24X7 Study areas with wired Internet connectivity:

• Library (E-Wing) 
• Hostel 1A
• Hostel 2A
• Hostel 3B

The Internet facility is provided to all students with Unlimited Bandwidth (The sessions are limited up to three hour per day). Each study area is under constant CCTV surveillance and entry is restricted through Access Control (Smart cards)
